Ms. Samantha Chen has played piano for more than ten years and started her piano journey at the age of eight in Austin, TX. Although she has played a variety of compositions over the years by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy, and Liszt, her favorite composer is Frédéric Chopin. In high school, she has had the honor of performing as a piano accompanist for multiple band and choir students, playing lead piano in her high school’s jazz band, and being the main keyboard player in their spring musical theatre productions. Besides piano, Samantha also plays clarinet, guitar, and dabbles here and there on ukulele. In her free time, she loves to dance, watch movies, and go to concerts with friends and family. She is always open to any movie, music artist, or song recommendations, so don’t be afraid to send them her way! Ms. Samantha is super excited to be teaching piano and sharing her passion for music in the studio.
